Great tour and excellent value for money. I took the 2 day Washington DC and Philadelphia tour. Guides were waiting where stated, tour bus was large and accommodated our big cases. We didn't know what to expect in Princeton but were surprised it was so lovely - similar to Oxford Uni. We didn't take the tour but instead walked around the town and explored the grounds of the Uni ourselves. In Philadelphia we walked to see the Liberty Bell and had free time to get lunch and explore. We then headed to Lancaster to see the Amish Farm - we took the tour and this was really interesting. We also had time for shopping in the Amish store selling quilts etc.. We had dinner in the Amish Good and Plenty restaurant, then headed for our hotel in Maryland the Metropole Points. Very efficient to get our room which was a double king room and it included breakfast too! Next day was an early start 7:15 to Washington. We walked to the White House, Lincoln Memorial and took the Cruise. We had time for lunch but passed on the Wax Museum and instead walked around town.
Great tour, well organised and a good price, would recommend.
