GL Vancouver independent tour itineraries make excellent use of an established
network of daily sightseeing tours and schedules offered by Greyhound
Travel Services and its affiliated companies. You will be travelling
independently without an escort, meeting different guests and a different
Driver/Guide daily. Note: New friends you make on your tour may not
be staying at your hotel or using the same services
- Changes to Reservation:
If you wish to make any changes to your reservation after confi rmation,
we will do our utmost to satisfy your requirements.
For changes that result in a reduction of services and/or for changes within 40 days, a charge of $50 U.S. per booking
will be applied. If your change results in cancellation of any services and
We incur charges, these charges will be applied to your account.
- Gratuities:
Hotel baggage gratuities and gratuities on included
meals are not included in package price. Driver/Guide, transfer driver
and all other train station Red Cap gratuities are not included.
- Cancellation/Refunds (Non-Special Events):
All cancellations must be received in writing by us and are subject to the
following cancellation penalties:
- Cancellations received within 60 days of departure will incur a penalty
of 15% U.S. per booking.
- Cancellations received within 45 days of departure will incur a penalty
of 20% U.S. per person.
- Cancellations received within 30 days of departure will incur a penalty
of 35% U.S. per person.
- Cancellations received within 15 days of departure will incur a penalty
of 60% U.S. per person.
- Cancellations received within 7 days of departure will incur a penalty
of 100% U.S. per person.
- Cancellations received within 65 days but before 60 days of departure, for Canadian
Rocky programs, will incur a penalty of 15% U.S. per person.
- Unused features are non-refundable.
- No-shows forfeit entire payment
- Cancellation Responsibility:
We reserve the right to cancel all or part of the tour with reasonable
discretion. If we cancel the entire tour, you will receive a full refund
of amounts paid. If we cancel a portion of the tour due to weather or other
reasons beyond our control, there will be no refund. For other partial
cancellations by us, you will receive a refund for the value of the
cancelled portion, a value to be determined by us in a fair and equitable manner.
- Seating/Baggage:
Motorcoach seating is not reserved or assigned. We will not be liable for any loss,
or delay of, or damage to baggage while not in its care. Nor will it assume any liability
for any loss or delay of, or damage to, breakable or perishable items, medicine,
or other valuables. We assume no liability for property you may leave
unattended in the passenger compartment of the coach either during or
at the conclusion of the tour. All baggage must fit in the compartment of
the coach. All baggage claims are subject to applicable tariffs.
- Company Policy Liability:
the purchase of any package or
any portion thereof constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions
and limitations as to liabilities set forth herein. Greyhound Travel Services
and its affiliated companies have made arrangement for the tour services
described in this brochure. The carriers providing transportation services
(other than Greyhound Travel Services and its affiliated companies),
hotels and other suppliers providing tour services are independent
contractors and are not the agents, employees or servants of, or joint
ventures with Greyhound Travel Services or its affiliated companies. All
certificated and other travel documents for tour services issued by us
are subject to the terms and conditions specifi ed by the supplier and to
the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied. All vouchers,
coupons, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and
conditions specifi ed by these suppliers.
By agreeing to utilize our services, the tour participant agrees that
neither Gray Line Vancouver nor its affiliated companies, nor is or their
employees or agents, shall be liable for any delay, inconvenience, loss
of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration, whether
physical or mental, resulting from the act of omission or Gray Line
Vancouver or its affi liated companies, or its or their employees or agents.
Further, the tour participant agrees that neither Gray Line Vancouver
nor its affi liated companies, nor its or their employees or agents, shall
be liable for any damage, loss, claim, cost or expense arising out of
personal injury, accident or death, loss, damage, or delay of baggage or
other property, resulting from (1) the act or omission on the part of any
person other than Greyhound Travel Services or its affi liated companies
or their employees; (2) Acts of God, sickness, theft, labor disputes,
mechanical breakdown, government actions, weather, or any other cause
beyond Gray Line Vancouver or it affi liated companies’ direct control.
- Written notice of any claim against Gray Line Vancouver or its
affiliated companies must be received no later than fourteen (14) days
after the date that services were provided to a tour participant.
