Position: Senior Storage Engineers
Reporting to: VP Engineering

Job Summary:

AppIQ is seeking senior level software engineers to architect and develop innovative enterprise software products. Reporting to the VP, Engineering, the senior level engineers must provide leadership on projects and manage implementation and debugging issues. A successful applicant is expected to have the technical expertise and skills to develop major components to a software solution with little supervision required.

Responsibilities:

Be the focal point of product design and architecture with both local and offshore development teams.
Research emerging and advanced technologies for application in product development.
Create and document all designs (working with team)
Code, test and debug major projects
Support various team members
Train team members for new designs
Delegate projects to team members
Assist with implementation and problem solving issues
Communicate status in a format suitable for executive decision-making.
Qualifications:

· In-depth understanding of the various storage technologies and their usage.

· Significant Experience with developing software management products that interface with SCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS and CIFS based storage subsystems.

· Significant experience with the usage and writing software to manage backup, volume manager, file system products on Solaris, Win2K, AIX, and HP-UX.

· Experience with developing software solutions on Linux platform.

· Minimum of 5 years in developing storage related projects.

· Extensive programming experience with C, C++ and Java.

· Ability to work well in a rapidly growing and evolving environment.

· Ability to work well in a growing team with flexible responsibilities.

· Must be detail and quality oriented.

· Must have good communication and solid problem solving skills.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics. Graduate degree preferred.
