March 20, 2002, Arlington, MA. IvyMedia began to sign new agreement with quality product suppliers to offer discount and quality products to our customers. Because IvyMedia leaves product suppliers with a set of easy-to-use tools to manage their own products/services, inventory, sales and their customers, both IvyMedia and product suppliers incur lower expenses compared with regular wholesalers. Therefore, our customers can get lower prices for the same quality products from IvyMedia than from other resellers.
We recently signed suppliers' agreement with several phone card providers. They will offer very competitive (low-cost and good quality) phone cards at IvyMedia's shopping area. IvyMedia protects our customers by setting quality standards for all products offered by product suppliers.
IvyMedia started its eCommerce practice in January 1999 by reselling low-cost quality phone cards to call China and Taiwan from USA. Over the last three years, IvyMedia has succesfully built an easy-to-use, secure and managable eCommerce platform to enhance the values for our product suppliers, registered or non-registered customers. Unlike most eCommerce providers, IvyMedia's eCommerce platform is managable for our product suppliers to manage their products, inventory, customers and sales. Our registered customers also have tools to manage their accounts and purchases. We are gradually expanding our ERP (Enterprise Ersource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relation management) flavors to our eCommerce platform.
